Zumba®: ACE (American Council on Exercise), says Zumba® is a highly effective, total-body workout! According to the study, Zumba® burns more calories than cardio kickboxing, step aerobics, hooping, or power yoga, and is good for core strengthening because of the hip and midsection movements. Gold: not sure if Zumba® is for you? Gold is the low impact "flavor" of Zumba®! Same great music and moves, less stress on your joints. Gold is for all ages and perfect for people just getting into fitness or for those who have gotten away from working out. You don't have to jump, but you can still get a fun, sweaty workout! This format is also perfect for people who want to learn rhythms and steps that may be new to them (beginners), people who don't want to jump, active older adults, participants with special physical considerations, and pregnant women. This is the same Zumba® party, taken at your own pace!
